The Real Deal
Amari & Mad
So, what are we about and how did we end up here? Well, for starters, we've been together for over twenty years and continue to find ways to laugh at each with each other. (Yes, 20 years!) Being a kid at heart will do that to you. Not to mention, being responsible for #hellakids will do that to you as well. With four kids in tow, it's never a dull moment in the Kenoly household to say the least!
We understand the importance of family.
and so
Family Over Everything
is a phrase we live by.
When we do get a chance for a date night (or day), we typically spend thirty minutes to an hour looking for a place to eat by scanning through Yelp reviews for the most amazing hole-in-the-wall joints to try based on the city we venture into. While seated, we normally have a 80/20 conversation: 80% aspirations, travel, kids, life and the other 20% we try and guess how long other couples in the restaurant have been together based on their body language and conversation. (Mad ear hustles lol). Once we've whet our appetite, we normally find a place where we can walk off the regret of stuffing our faces until we find some other vice to fold to, such as Bouchon Bakery pistachio macaron's (Mad’s weakness) or some old fashioned candy store to satisfy our (Amari’s) sweet tooth.
Laughter and love has always been the foundation of our marriage, but the true strength of our relationship stems from our ability to communicate and work effectively with one another.
we’re no different when it comes to wanting to build a real connection with our couples.
Which might explain why every time we’re invited to photograph a wedding it feels like we’re hanging out with family. We believe when you treat people like family it makes for a closer bond and you can feel free to just be yourself.
