San Francisco City Hall is one of my favorite places to photograph a wedding. With its grand staircase, marble columns, and ornate architecture, it's the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony. And for one couple, the Summer was the perfect time to tie the knot in this historic location.

Jonathan and Nicole embodied the kind of energy that made them an absolute joy to work with. I loved how they exchanged their hand written vows on the fourth floor balcony of SF City Hall, watching them read their vows in private to one another, made me feel grateful to be the one to capture it for them.

The ceremony itself was sweet and intimate. The officiant spoke about the importance of prayer and commitment in a marriage, and how it can help two people grow together over time.

After the ceremony, everyone headed over to Sens Restaurant for the reception. The small gathering featured moments of breaking bread, giving praise, and plenty of laughter and dancing.

For Jonathan and Nicole, their San Francisco City Hall wedding was the perfect way to celebrate their love and commitment to one another. From watching how they connect and compliment each other it’s easy to see they have something special that’s built last.
