Have you ever seen love at 8,000 feet? We have. Thanks to Nick and Yihan, we immediately fell in love with the mountain landscape of their Lake Tahoe wedding. Standing on the mountain top surrounded by close friends and family, their ceremony was engulfed with early evening light that kissed the redwood trees and revealed late melting snow. It was an amazing feeling to experience but I’m sure that for them being front and center among all who came to witness them tie the knot was probably one of the highest points in their life (no pun intended).

The experience for the guests adventure to the ceremony was an event in itself. How often do you get to ride a gondola or a ski lift in the Summertime? It was exhilarating! The guests loved it. Going back down at the end of the night was also just as memorable.

The Zephyr Lodge is beautiful and tastefully blends among the picturesque landscape. The outdoor patio area served as an accommodating space for their cocktail hour, then it turned into a lounge area for quiet conversations after dinner, where guests enjoyed making smore’s, crackin’ jokes, and reminiscing about older times.
